Job Description

This role is primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day Payroll – Timekeeping function that provides effective and proactive service delivery to key stakeholders. This includes supporting department activities and efficiencies such as gathering and entering employee time and wage within the time management system, computing employee’s time worked, production, and commission as well as computing post wages and deduction.

  • Lead and manage the implementation, service transition and stabilization activities for the Payroll – Timekeeping function

  • Act as QA or four-eye checker of Timekeeping Specialists in line with case handling

  • Ensure data integrity of all information entered AECOM people systems

  • Lead and motivate multi-functional and multi-language teams in a complex environment and ensure high-quality, professional, and proactive service is delivered

  • Provide guidance and direction to the team according to established policies, procedures, and management guidance

  • Manage team workload and recommend resource planning solutions for changing resourcing needs and work volumes

  • Analyze complex issues and guide solutions to challenging issues and escalations within the team

  • Manage team performance, provide coaching, and identify career development opportunities relevant to the team

  • Provide regular performance and operational progress reports to managers to ensure issues are being flagged on a timely manner and ensure gaps are addressed

  • Develop and prepare reports and analyses on workload management, SLA achievement, quality, and process efficiency and other related management reports and audits

  • Organize internal and external knowledge sharing sessions to constantly develop the knowledge database

  • Create and maintain accuracy of internal documentations such as process maps and standard operating procedures

  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity in Payroll – Timekeeping function

  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships by ensuring escalations are managed effectively and proactively and elevating it as and when necessary

  • Manage and strategize team utilization, ensure team coverage and extend needed support especially during high volume and critical days

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in outsourcing, shared services, or a similar model with any country (AMER, SEA, ANZ) Timekeeping, Payroll, or any similar roles

  • Experience in managing teams performing complex end-to-end payroll processing preferably in a shared service or BPO environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of processes and procedures relevant to HR, payroll, and time data entry and management

  • Experience using HR systems, payroll, and timekeeping systems such as Oracle, Service Now, ADP Tool, and other similar platforms and tools

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Open to any shift schedule (Early Morning, Morning, Mid, and/or Night Shift)
