Our growing Energy team are looking for a Energy Transition Lead – Grid Modernisation to drive innovative change and support the acceleration of the big energy transition. This is an exciting role to develop and implement our strategy in delivering a major energy transition, engaging renewable energy sources, and improving grid connection across Australia and New Zealand, based from our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices.

Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Develop multi-year ANZ Grid Modernisation and Energy Transition Strategy, implementation plans and priorities.

  • Confirm ANZ capability requirements to achieve growth strategy and support implementation of recruitment plan in collaboration with regional leaders and internal stakeholders/resources.

  • Lead engagement with global Grid Modernisation Leaders for global pursuits, workshare and development of global capability

  • Identify and partner with our key clients in collaboration with regional leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Be based from our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Demonstrable leading knowledge in Australian and/or New Zealand Transmission and Distribution networks, including key emerging technologies in grid connection (microgrids, decentralised generation and storage), major grid upgrades, transmission interconnection and renewable energy and storage connection infrastructure.

  • Proven leadership skills, including technical leadership, human relations, team building, innovation, and motivation skills.

  • Capable in developing a strong client base with a passion to drive client-focussed results.

  • Collaborative approach; willing to share knowledge, experience and ideas while driving multidisciplinary teams towards one shared goal.
