Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Junior Engineer for employment in the Stevens Point, WI office to join our state-of-the-art water system planning group. This position will focus on work associated with water system modeling, design and planning.

  • This position is responsible for performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, collecting and interpreting field data, and providing technical support on a variety of water resources projects.

  • Duties will include moderate to complex drinking water system evaluations and project tasks, including water system planning, design, modeling/hydraulic modeling, cost estimating, spreadsheet analyses. Job duties will also include assistance with design projects related to water treatment, pumping and other water system features.

  • Some of the work for this position will focus on computerized water distribution system hydraulic modeling, water quality studies, and water system master planning.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering with focus in water

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and related applications.

Due to nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering

Pressurized pipe hydraulic modeling project experience

Previous master planning experience

Familiarity with GIS

Experience or understanding of water systems design (e.g. pumping systems, treatment works, distributions systems,etc.)

Experience with hydraulic modeling including H20NET, H20Map, InfoWater, WaterCAD, or WaterGEMS.
