Job Summary

AECOM has an opportunity for a

General Clerk at our Springfield, VA location.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties, which include routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. Maintain records and databases in CMMS ARCHIBUS, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve problems.

  • Answer incoming calls at Central Utility Plant (CUP)

  • Assist CUP Manager and Leads with analyzing and prioritizing, and managing service calls/work orders for distribution to maintenance and service personnel.

  • Assist in managing and tracking daily work load outputs to improve cycle time and on-time-delivery

  • Perform follow-ups with CUP personnel on Service Call (SC), Preventative Maintenance (PM), and IDIQ work orders.

  • Assist in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of records (stored both manually and electronically).

  • Verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness from ARCHIBUS; compiling information for reports.

  • Maintain, coordinate and annotate all updates, delays, progress notes and reschedules using Computerized Maintenance Management System ARCHIBUS.

  • Generate charts, graphs, and reporting documents.

  • Assist Project Control Manager with Preventative Maintenance program.

  • Provide monthly reports on work order statistical issues as requested by management.

  • Maintain detailed records for Service Call (SC), Preventative Maintenance (PM), and IDIQ work orders along with metric data.

  • Maintain knowledge of processes and procedures for facility operations.

  • Ensure compliance by maintaining an electronic management report of all facility maintenance events.

  • Support and contribute to company safety guidelines and regulations.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • TS security clearance is required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3 or more years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Requires knowledge of computer operating software programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/poly is preferred.
