Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the BIM Manager in implementing BIM processes & workflows for various projects.

  • Assist the BIM Manager in maintaining BIM documents such as BEP, Project BIM standards, MIDP, TIDP, Model tree, LOD table etc.

  • Manage BIM production, BIM collaboration & coordination, Issue management, as-built verification, BIM handover & other BIM processes.

  • Prepare and update federated models for coordination, perform clash detection & review the model, create & assign issues, distribute the list to the relevant teams, setup BIM coordination meetings, follow up & ensure timely resolution of the issues.

  • Handhold the BIM modeling team on production of 3D models & 2D drawings from BIM (or directly) for C&S/M&E works.

  • Production of BIM deliverables such as 4D, 5D, 6D.

  • Assist to develop the Company-wide & Project-specific templates & object libraries.

  • Manage the BIM deliverables schedule & ensure timely delivery of good quality models & drawings.

  • Perform QA QC on models & drawings as per project/ client standards.

  • Maintain records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs etc. in accordance with the company’s ISO standards and procedures. Perform regular backups and housekeeping work in the CDE.

  • Assist in/ attend trainings. Continue to learn new methods to improve efficiency & apply in projects.

  • Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use, training, and assistance on projects for the implementation of new BIM softwares.

  • Support Project Team for Presentations with BIM-Model and related activities

  • Work under the supervision of BIM Manager and perform work task assigned

  • Any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by the Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering or other relevant certifications in BIM Applications.

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in an engineering or construction company having successfully completed BIM production or coordination for at least 2 projects.

  • Well versed in at least one BIM Platform such as Civil3D, Autodesk Revit, Bentley Open Buildings Designer, TEKLA and etc.

  • Well versed in at least one BIM coordination Platform such as Navisworks, iTwin, Revizto etc.

  • Good planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works

  • Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within team environment.

  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Well versed in Singapore BCA e-submission and guidelines.
