Job Summary

This position is designated as an unescorted access position and is subject to the requirements of the Unescorted Access Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the PCD Commander.


  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

  • Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

  • May be required to work overtime or varying hours.

  • Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.

  • Work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility.

  • Responsible for understanding plant business processes as they pertain to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with all functional areas of the plant.

  • Responsible for the quality of asset data input in MAXIMO.

  • Responsible for the administration of workflow, including revision of existing, and development of new, to support business processes.

  • Development of Business Intellegence and Reporting Tool (BIRT) reports in support of Plant Management requirements.

  • Work with the Database/System Administrator developing configuration changes, and assist in the implementation.

  • Assist the Database/System Administrator with the testing of patches, upgrades, installations, and problem solutions.

  • Assist the Database/System Administrator with development and implementation of security within MAXIMO.

  • Assist the Database/System Administrator with MAXIMO license management.

  • Work with end-users to resolve problems, address functional issues, and provide guidance in the use of MAXIMO.

  • Responsible for the implementation of and maintenance of various databases, analytical systems, spreadsheets and graphics for production control programs.

  • Utilizes demilitarization operations knowledge/experience, collects plant operating data, site performance statistics and supporting data to maintain or create databases for analyses, reporting, or updating of key project milestones.

  • Responsible for analyzing facility production information, statistics and data for trending, for use in writing reports, generating presentations, and making recommendations to improve facility availability, plant throughput capacity and factors limiting site productivity.

Minimum Requirements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and 2 years computerized maintenance management system administration experience


  • Associate degree and 6 years computerized maintenance management system administration experience


  • High school diploma/equivalent and 10 years computerized maintenance management system administration experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain PCAPP site access

  • Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment

  • Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting blueprints or architectual drawings

  • Must have thorough knowledge of variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, production processes and engineering

  • Experience in performing equipment maintenance

  • Ability to train others on how to use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

  • MAXIMO expert level knowledge required (both front and backend aspects)

  • Strong understanding of IBM Webspere Application Server

  • Demonstrative ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries

  • Skills in application designer, workflow development, database configuration, escalations, and conditional expressions

Preferred Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in initial implementation and setup of computerized maintenance management system using MAXIMO

  • Experience using Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT)

  • Significant work control experience

  • Certified MAXIMO Asset Management Engineer
