Job Summary

Currently AECOM is looking for a

Designer Assistant to be a part of the team in Poznan office. In this Role you will be responsible for alignment design of road horizontal alignments, vertical profiles and super elevation. Along with experience in roads/highway alignment modelling software Inroads or Civil.

Job Duties:

  • Creating layout/design of at-grade urban junctions taking into account traffic flows, turning movements, storage requirements.

  • Design urban/rural freeway/expressways, grade-separated interchanges, exit and entrance ramps, and familiarity with various types of merges/diverges.

  • Use terrain modelling and volume calculation from models, especially for road/site formation earthworks and pavement volumes using Inroads or Civil, preparation of estimates, and Bill of Quantities preparation for road works.

Specific Skills Required :

  • Experience in road design with Bentley Software (Microstation, In Roads)

  • Communicative level of English

  • Requirements for driving licenses

Minimum Requirements

Our requirements:

  • Master Degree in Engineering (Civil)

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience

  • English skills at B2 level

  • Good knowledge of software supporting design process

  • Driving license cat. B
