Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly talented and experienced AVP, Senior Program Manager Toll Roadway ,based in the New York Metro area, although location is flexible. The Program Director leads teams of civil, transportation, traffic engineers, planners, and economics professionals with project pursuits, project delivery, business development, and general management while providing toll highway advisory services and leadership guidance for toll authorities in the NY Metro area and across the country. Seeking an individual with client leadership and future visions for the toll industry, Road User Charging, and associated emerging technologies to work with our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Significant interaction with other Program Management/General Consultant Managers/Directors for General Engineering, Operations, and Tolling Authorities' contracts

  • Routinely resolves difficult issues with a significant financial impact

  • Interacts with senior government and public officials and executive-level clients on program matters requiring coordination between organizations

  • Assesses and manages risk on behalf of the client

  • Provides oversight and directions to AECOM staff and subcontractors

  • Mentors staff

  • Requires project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Program or project management experience with toll facility systems, engineering, planning, etc.

  • Experience with program financial management and team leadership and understanding of self-funded state programs, preferably in NJ

  • Engineering consulting industry experience.

  • Tolling industry association experience and involvement

  • Experience with large client programs with complex levels of program disciplines

  • Experience with working with bond rating agencies and bond sales and covenants.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $175,000.00 - $230,000.00.
