AECOM Material Coordinator in Norfolk, Virginia

AECOM is actively seeking a Material Coordinator to provide logistics support to our NAVSEA PMS-435 customer. The position will be located at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, VA.
Provide assistance in support of logistics related audits, inspections, assessments, and other database reviews. Resolve discrepancies and provide required reports.
Support Fleet Casualty Reports by providing logistics assistance as necessary, directed.
Research logistics support documents and databases in determining identification of parts and their availability.
Assess availability and validity of onboard system technical manuals.
Update and maintain logistics database files
Provide material receipt, inspection, packing crating, handling, and shipping support for electronic equipment
Maintain inventory of all Government Owned Material and Sponsor Owned material.
Manage acquisition kits for installations, OBRP’s and INCO distribution
Complete the required shipping documentation necessary to insure proper accountability
Assist with weekly, ,monthly, annual inventory audits
Assist with all other assigned tasks
Specialized Experience: Two (2) years full time experience handling delicate electronic and electrical equipment and components. Must be trained and experienced in the identification of Electro-Static Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) equipment and components
General Experience: Four (4) years full-time experience in location and moving equipment and material between work sites according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and keeps related shipping schedules, shipping/receiving records, and inventory records
Good written and spoken communication and analytical skills.
Secret Security clearance is required.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Submarine Logistics supporting forward end electronic equipment in support of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center
