AECOM Identity and Access Management Director (Remote) in New York, New York

AECOM is seeking a strategically minded IAM Director experienced in leading the design, build and integration of global identity and access management (IAM) capabilities within a complex business environment.
The ideal IAM leader delivers the best user experience while balancing application and information security requirements. As a member of the information security leadership team, the IAM leader plays a critical role in helping to implement the information security strategy in pursuit of our desired outcomes.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
The IAM Leader has global accountability for the IAM strategy as well as the design & engineering of IAM tools, capabilities and services, IAM resources, and day-to-day operations within his/her scope of responsibility
Leveraging key technologies and best practices, the IAM Leader will work collaboratively with IT solution teams to integrate identity management solutions that improve our security posture while equally improving employee/contractor and partner experience
Establish, document and communicate IAM services, capabilities, policies and procedures to key IAM stakeholders and consumers
Utilize effective people leadership and influencing skills to successfully carry out IAM and the overall information security mission
Lean on deep subject-matter expertise in all areas of IAM including single sign-on, multifactor authentication, privileged account management, password vaulting, role-based, just-in-time access and domain design
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 12+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
One or more certifications preferred: e.g., CISSP or CISM IAM industry affiliations preferred
Previous experience with Industry leading technologies for IAM, single sign on, multifactor authentication such as SailPoint, ForgeRock, OKTA, RSA, etc.
Previous experience with Industry leading technologies for Multifactor Authentication such as Okta verify Cisco Duo, Symantec VIP Access, Gemalto, Ping Identity, etc.
Technical understanding; Across IT systems (e.g., applications, networks, LDAP, domains, etc.) Information security utilities (i.e., firewalls, IPS, SIEM, proxy) Application authentication techniques
Expert-level understanding of IAM principles and processes
Proven ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility within cross-functional groups and use technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services
Preferred Big4 or equivalent consulting experience in Global Fortune 500 organizations
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, relationship building, and problem-solving to achieve goals
Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Able to manage a team of professionals who are accountable for the daily operations of company cyber operations; ensures adequate monitoring and protection of critical business systems is implemented and maintained
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings and present to large groups of technical and business personnel
Experience in directing Cyber Security Operations Center similar in size, scope, and complexity
Professional security management certification such as CISSP, CISM, or other similar credentials is preferred
