Requires the use of advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.
The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually result from progressive experience.
Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments. Degree in engineering required.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
15+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer (Electrical) in New York
Experience in the design of electrical and control systems for water/wastewater facilities
Experience in the design and implementation of projects
Experience controlling budgets, project design, and conducting technical reviews
Proven team management skills with capability to work with a wide variety of individuals, and have the skills and abilities necessary to lead engineers, designers, and technical and support staff
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and design for multiple projects
Comfortable in conducting internal and external meetings and be a quick-thinker who brings creative and fresh initiatives
