Job Summary

AECOM is searching for a Designer / Architect with 1-3 years working experience, focusing on the integration of a digital process with design and parametric modeling.

AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. You will gain experience in your discipline through learning on the job and participate in development opportunities during the program, including access to AECOM's social media resources, group mentoring, and professional networking. The program also has learning activities that will be available to you, including webinars and on-line programs.

This person should have passion for design, and has experience or is willing to learn healthcare and/ or corporate workplace.

  • Performing basic architectural calculations

  • Parametric Modeling and building information modeling.

  • Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.

  • Maintaining liaison with design and production groups.

  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.

  • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.

  • May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

  • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Architecture or higher + 0-2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Passion for design, and has experience or is willing to learn healthcare and/ or corporate workplace

  • Proficient in Revit, Grasshopper, and Rhino

  • Familiar with project production requirements and construction administration requirements

  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality

  • Confident and positive in front of all kind of conditions especially with deadlines and tight project schedules

  • Well organized, flexible and have the ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Architect preferred

  • Understanding of Dynamo and Sketchup a plus.
