Job Summary

Our Rail Team in Melbourne has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Rail Engineer to join our Track and Civil Rail team in VIC. With guidance and mentoring from our team of specialists, you will be given exposure to a range of projects across the region, enabling you to further develop your technical and business development skills.

Your scope of work will range from projects involving feasibility studies, tender designs, problem oriented projects, detailed design and construction support. As part of a multi-disciplinary organisation, this role will see you collaborating with other disciplines associated with delivery of rail projects, giving you wider exposure and understanding across small, medium and large-scale projects. Experience with Bentley Rail Track and Microstation, as well bid and technical report writing skills will be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate Engineering Qualification;

  • 7+ years' relevant, professional experience;

  • Ability to use a range of technical drawings, spreadsheets and database systems;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • Knowledge of railway planning and design;

  • Proven ability to take a senior a role within design teams to deliver projects on time and budget;

  • Willing to mentor junior staff members.

This role is suited to a highly motivated engineer who is looking for exposure to local and international mentors to help support and drive their career.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
