AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern for employment in the Mechanicsburg, PA office during Summer 2019.   • Duties will include assistance with the following tasks: wetland delineation, use of GPS survey equipment, threatened and endangered species surveys, environmental permit applications, and other natural resource related tasks as needed.

  • Must be capable of working long days in the field under all weather conditions. Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs and must be physically able to walk over long distances daily. Travel may be required. Ability to travel is a must and some weekend work may be required.

  • Guaranteed 24 hours. May have opportunity for additional hours based on workload.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an degree in environmental science or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft office applications (word, excel, outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of first year of qualified study

  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to take direction from others.
