AECOM is currently seeking a Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineers to be based in Manchester . You will be in charge of all levels will design of mechanical building services schemes and installations to current codes and design practices The more junior roles will work under supervision of a more experienced engineer whilst the more senior roles will be require to supervise junior engineers as required. Local and Overseas travel can be expected.
In particular we are looking to secure engineers with experience in automated warehousing and distribution buildings, Data Centres and industrial type facilities

Our Building & Places division provides a multidisciplinary offering consisting of a variety of consultancy services ranging from Civil, Structural and MEP Engineering, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying and Environmental.

The mechanical and electrical engineers we have in our team specialise in healthcare, education, pharmaceutical, sports, and leisure. We are market leaders on large international projects as well as small scale local experts who seek to improve communities through strong design and infrastructure projects.
We are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering local and overseas projects. Some of our flagship work in recent years include; The Luisal Artscape Expressway in Qatar, Olympic venues, Boka Bay Beach Resort, a carbon neutral University Science Centre and the St Pancras Chambers Hotel in London to name but a few.
- Should be accomplished users of some of the following software; AutoCAD, Hevacomp, , Cymap, Revit, IES, or TAS
We are ideally seeking candidates with extensive building services experience.
Applicants for the Senior positions should ideally be Charted Engineers or working towards charted status.
Educated to degree level with a minimum of a BEng in a CIBSE approved course.
Alternatively candidates with Uptime Institute qualifications would also be welcomed.
Incorporated engineers with solid industry experience will also be considered
