Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Administrator for immediate employment for a project in Pomona, CA. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Perform various administrative tasks necessary to complete railroad engineering and construction projects on behalf of the client, including management of budgets, schedules, scopes, preparation of contract procurement documentation and reporting.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintaining and reporting the status of projects, including dissemination of complex technical information related to railroad systems, operations and components.

  • Works independently and with supervision.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 2+ years' experience.

  • Experience in project administration including spreadsheets and databases such as IBM Jazz.

  • Technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and CAD.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients.

  • Well organized, have attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to quickly recognize and solve project issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial project review and analysis

  • Rail project experience

  • Familiar with Positive Train Control
