Job Summary

AECOM Workplace Advisory is a global workplace consultancy practice that is passionate about the future of work and its impact on the employee experience. Job Duties:

Candidates will be expected to have a high level of expertise as a workplace consultant demonstrating a good level of insight for current trends and relevant benchmarks within the industry and should meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to deliver high quality strategic workplace consultancy, manage client relationships and develop new project opportunities for the team.

  • Led a range of client accounts, developing global programmes of work for workplace sector clients delivering workplace strategy and change management services

  • Worked on large complex projects across a range of building types including workplace, research and development facilities, as well as learning and cultural institutions

In addition the successful candidate will have significant experience in the following:

  • Strategic briefing - translating business objectives and drivers into workplace design strategies and guidelines for agile /activity based workplaces.

  • Feasibility studies - considering refurbishment and new development options; at workplace, building or masterplanning level.

  • Space planning and modelling - creating space budgets, utilisation and density targets, accommodation schedules and test fits

  • Change management – proven track record in developing and delivering workplace transformation programmes aligned with organisational culture change initiatives

  • Experience of and interest in mentoring senior and junior staff in their area of expertise, including line management responsibilities

  • Reinforces sense of community and culture within the team

Minimum Requirements

Management and staff development responsibilities

  • Source of advice and experience for team members, experience in workplace consulting

  • Assists other UK Directors with managing team, reviewing skills and resourcing, including recruitment

  • Works with UK Directors to develop business direction and strategies to achieve the business plan

  • Works with global and regional Directors to develop methodologies and tools to take to market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree (Bachelor or Masters level) in one or more of the following: Architect, Interiors, other related design fields. [REQUIRED]

  • MBA or Degree in Business related field. [PREFERRED]
