Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Functional Support Manager to join our team at our IOL Kearl Project, Alberta. This is a full time position on a 10 day on, 10 day off rotation.

Reporting to the site manager, the Functional Support Manager provides guidance and oversight to the Quality, Subcontracts, Fleet / Facility, Supply Chain, Planning, Time Entry and Administration functions on the Kearl Project.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate and lead functional groups on work activities and process.

  • Provide guidance and oversight on functional goals that are in alignment with overall site objectives and drive continuous improvement within the functions.

  • Ensure alignment and collaboration of functional processes to provide an effective and efficient overall execution strategy.

  • Collaborate with site leadership team to ensure maintenance and shutdown / outage teams are provided required functional support.

  • Effectively manage client relationships both for functional departments and support to the maintenance operations within the client organization structure.

  • Lead the development of site-based processes that integrate AECOM and client functional process to ensure both companies contractual and procedural requirements are achieved.

  • Ensure divisional functional departments are effectively supporting functional teams on site.

  • Collaborate with divisional functional managers to perform performance reviews for functional leads.

Assist with identification and mitigations of risks at the site in relation to assigned functions.

  1.   2. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

  • Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09)

  • First Aid - Standard Level Certification

  • This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.
