At AECOM, we are committed to continuous growth and excellence in delivering multi-disciplinary projects that shape the future of infrastructure and development. Our Bids Team in Dubai plays a critical role in securing new work by developing compelling and winning proposals.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Graduate Bid Specialist to join our Bids Team in Dubai. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for crafting technically and commercially sound proposals that win new projects for our organization. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and exciting opportunities for professional development and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bid Management:

  2. Help develop and manage the bid/PQQ/ITT program, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  3. Assist with the execution of bid submission documents, coordinating efforts across technical and support services teams.

  4. Bid Strategy and Planning:

  5. Facilitate workshops and bid planning meetings, collaborating with key proposal contributors to establish clear win strategies.

  6. Work closely with technical teams to develop storyboard content that addresses client needs and offers winning solutions.

  7. Quality and Technical Content Management:

  8. Manage compliance and conduct reviews of the quality and technical content in proposal documents.

  9. Liaise with the commercial bid team to ensure alignment across all submission aspects.

  10. Process Improvement:

  11. Promote the effective use of AECOM’s work-winning processes and tools.

  12. Identify areas for improvement in the work-winning process and tools, contributing to continuous enhancement.

  13. Research and Data Utilization:

  14. Utilize existing internal and external data sources to enhance the quality and relevance of bid submissions.

  15. Conduct research to support bid strategies and differentiate AECOM from competitors.

  16. Document Management:

  17. Manage and maintain all bid documents, ensuring timely distribution to relevant functions for response, review, and signature as per the bid program.

  18. Communication and Collaboration:

  19. Support answer planning, copywriting, and editing to ensure clear and compelling proposal content.

  20. Provide writing guidance for technical writers and coordinate with the creative team for graphics.

  21. Prepare and coach team members for presentations during the bid process.

  22. Knowledge Sharing:

  23. Share knowledge, insights, and lessons learned with the team.

  24. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the work-winning process and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Strategy from an accredited University

  • Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.

  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.

  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
