Job Summary

JW Williams, an AECOM company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to be based in our Casper, WY facility.

The JW Williams Shop lays out, fits, and fabricates metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic construction principles. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work. Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments. Spends large percentage of time assisting the craft discipline journeymen.

Minimum Requirements

Education: None required

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent.

  • Previous experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment in a steel fabrication shop such as welding machines, overhead cranes, turning rolls, forklifts, plate rolls, paint equipment, hydraulic brake and shears.

  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle and have a clear MVR

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
