AECOM Maintenance Packaging Engineer in Carlsbad, New Mexico

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a
Maintenance Packaging Engineer to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.
The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and direct the planned and as needed maintenance activities for the CH and RH Type B Packages. Will maintain the database used for inventory control of spare parts and maintenance records for the Type B fleet. Responsible for control of the CCP M&TE program.
Bachelor of Science degree, with five (5) years of relevant experience, or
Associate’s degree with nine (9) years relevant experience, or
High School Diploma or GED plus thirteen (13) years of related experience is required.
Two (2) years of direct experience in oversight and administration of Type B Package maintenance and repair activities.
This position does require working outside of the normal 9/80B Scheduled hours as needed to support the work scope.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Two (2) years of experience in a project management role is preferred.
Experience working with and under 10CFR71, Subpart H Quality Assurance Program is a plus.
Previous WIPP experience is preferred.
