We are expanding our Stakeholder Engagement capability and are recruiting an Associate Director / Technical Director Level professional to lead this growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Planning and Environment team and help in the delivery of a number of complex multi-disciplinary projects.

Our team comprises a range of professionals including environmental scientists and engineers, resource management and urban planners, sustainability specialists and ecologists who are all passionate about making a positive impact on our local communities and natural environment for the present and into the future


The Associate Director / Technical Director Stakeholder Engagement will be responsible for working with our clients to engage

effectively with their key stakeholders and communities on complex multi-disciplinary projects. You will set the strategy, build your team over time, drive implementation and mentor junior team members. You will work closely with the RMA team who are delivering a number of key projects across Auckland and nationally.


You will benefit from a background in infrastructure and/or urban planning projects with an ability to think strategically. Ideally we

are looking for a professional with a strong resource management planning background, passionate about community engagement and who has seen their career develop into this area.

Minimum Requirements

  • +15 years’ experience

  • Proven track record in relationship management and community engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent and ideally IAP2 certification
