Job Summary

Savannah River Remediation, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an

Associate Programmer Analyst to be based in our Aiken, SC location.

The Associate Programmer/ Analyst participates in developing new web applications and maintain current applications using C# and Microsoft ASP.NET MVC. They also install and support commercial off-the-shelf software for business systems and provide application support to the business system department personnel ( accounting, procurement, Human Resources, etc.).


  • Supports the development and/ or modification of enterprise-wide systems and/ or applications using company defined life cycle processes and secure coding techniques.

  • Involved in ensuring all supported commercial and developed applications meet site security requirements, department software life-cycle and software compliance standards.

  • Develops web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users.

  • Works with more senior analysts in the preparation of long and short-range plans for applications and software selection, application and software roadmap, software systems development, systems and infrastructure maintenance planning, and production activities to develop a better understanding of the departments plans.

  • Works with senior analysts to develop entity relationships and process flow diagrams outlining current and proposed systems in development.

  • Prepares documentation of programs developed, modifications to code, and user manuals.

  • Develops, documents and performs application testing to resolve problems.

  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of IIS, WebLogic, Tomcat, and other web serves.

  • Maintains up-to-date patches and upgrades for existing systems.

  • Errors are typically corrected without a major effect on the organization.

  • Contacts are primarily the immediate supervisor, project leaders and the other personnel within the group.

  • May work across organizations with customers on technical issues associated with specific projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree OR;

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related and 2+ years of relevant experience OR;

  • High School diploma/ GED and 4+ years combination of secondary education and/ or relevant experience

  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​Proficient in C# and MVC along with HTML5.

  • Proficient with SQL including Store Procedures and CRUD
