Job Description

Join AECOM's 2024 Graduate Program

Are you a recent engineering graduate looking to launch your career with a global leader in infrastructure consulting? AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Design Management Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the UAE.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Design Management Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our technical teams, contributing to prestigious projects that shape the future of infrastructure. In this role, you will act as an Assistant Design Manager, playing a pivotal part in interfacing and project management to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery. Your contributions will be integral to our mission of building a better world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Design Management: Support the project manager in coordinating and managing design activities for the projects.

  • Interface Management: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design components.

  • Project Management: Assist with project management tasks, including scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting.

  • Technical Support : Provide technical support to the design team, ensuring that designs meet project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Documentation: Assist in the preparation and management of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and project outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.

  • Candidates must be 2022-2024 graduates, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.

  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.

  • If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.

  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
